The collection is a privately owned body of work, and is made up of a series of paintings by Jewish artists predominantly from the 20th century.  The paintings explore historical context ranging from the Russian Diaspora's, National Socialism, the Holocaust and later events and their impact on the lives of those living in the shadow of modern Israel.

 

The paintings represent one of the largest privately owned collections of work in its field of interest in the United Kingdom.  The paintings may be loaned to Galleries and Museums either individually for the purposes of retrospectives of an artist, or in part, exploring concepts that are suitable and provide educational or inspirational outcomes to those attending.
