The Eshkol Collection was founded in memory of Yochanan Eshkol 1981 -  2016

 

Yann was filled with life, he didn’t always know it and sometimes struggled with its challenges but he was profound, insightful and kind. 

​

He hated injustice in all its forms and refused to see boundaries based on geography or ideology. He was a citizen of the world and his outlook was one that saw the world as a place of beauty despite the worst in our collective nature and our treatment of each other.

Yann was an artist and a thinker. He believed that life is a gift not to be squandered and that in spite of the worst traumas we may suffer, we can still create beauty and be inspired by others.

To Yann, other peoples ideas, creativity, knowledge and experience was something to embrace and learn from, this collection is the embodiment of this ideal.
