Zvi Shor

1898 - 1976

Zvi Shor, was born in the Ukraine and emigrated to Israel on 1921 and settled in Haifa. He studied with painter Herman Struck and sculptor, Eliezer Struck.

 

In the years 1936-38 Shor lived in Paris and participated in a big exhibition with Picasso, Renoir, Leger and others of the same caliber. When he returned to Israel He moved to Tel Aviv. From 1939-48 he worked at the Kibbutz Hashlosha, as a teacher and painting; before settling near Petah Tikvah.
